A beautiful journey into the 245 years old logo of the three waves.

Throughout one whole year, Danish photographer Anders Hviid-Haglund travelled the coastlines of Denmark, in search of 52 essential ocean moments to capture the essense of the 3 Royal Copenhagen trademark waves.

As a personal narrative, the project is a immersion into the poetry of the Danish waters.

Parting the ocean in two

A book parted in two.

Open the book from one side and experience the photographic artwork itself, flip the book and open it from the other side, and experience the journey behind the camera with footage, notes and thoughts from the many hours gazing into the horizon.

photo locations

As a personal narrative,
the project is a prolonged immersion into the poetry of the Danish waters – one that can only be captured by experiencing them in their entirety as the seasons come and go along the shores.
